We are dishing up the Best Keto Slow Cooker Recipes, from breakfast to dessert. Simplify your meal prep and your life with these mouthwatering crockpot meals!
Once upon a time, I didn’t think slow cookers were very useful. Someone gifted us a slow cooker for our wedding and it always gave off a funny smell as it heated up. And I found most crockpot recipes to be bland and overcooked.
Fast forward to today and I have not one but two slow cookers and I use them frequently. And I have amassed quite a collection of delicious Keto Slow Cooker Recipes.
Crockpots help streamline family meals and save on dishes. And many recipes are set-it-and-forget it. Or what I like to call “Dump and Run” recipes, where you simply add all of the ingredients to the pot and walk away!
More than soups and stews
Think outside the box as to what your slow cooker can do for you. It’s not just for main dishes, it also makes excellent breakfasts, sides, and even desserts.
And don’t relegate it just to the colder months, either. You can use a slow cooker to prepare keto meals in the summer, so you don’t have to turn on your oven.
So plug in that crockpot and let’s get cooking!
What’s the best slow cooker?
There are so many brands of slow cookers and multi-cookers, which one do you choose? Here are a few tips.
Look for programmable options like this Hamilton Beach Set and Forget model or the CrockPot Cook and Carry model. While simpler versions are less expensive, you have to be home to turn them on and off at the right times. Programmable slow cookers allow you to delay the start times and keeps the food warm when cooking is finished.
Most recipes make 6 to 12 servings and utilize 5 to 7 quart crockpots. Both of mine are 6 quart versions, which is about right for all of my keto slow cooker recipes. You can go bigger or smaller, but you will need to adjust the ingredients accordingly.

It’s weird how you read my mind. I made the Mongolian Beef recipe on Saturday and, I said to myself, “I need a few more recipes to make ahead because I hate cooking.” I just checked your email today and voila, here they are. There are some I am going to make to have on hand. Just need to make sure I have the ingredients. It’s difficult when there’s only me to feed. I eat way too many of your sweets. Just sayin’… Love your recipes.

I cannot tell you how much your recipes keep me motivated as I change my way of eating. My husband and I have switched our diets entirely to keto/low carb/no sugar. Since April of this year, we have lost nearly 30 pounds EACH. If you are ever in Idaho, you have an open invitation to come and visit. I would like to send you a thank you gift. Would it be too much to ask for a mailing address?
Thank you again and please keep the recipes, motivation and inspiration coming.

My husband and I just had your white chili with chicken and devoured it. Thanks so much. We did it in our instant pot since I gave away my slow cooker but it worked. I do hope you’ll share some recipes in instant pots. Thank you. Also made your keto almond cake. Delish!

THE raspberry coffee cake recipe is supposed to be a slow cooker recipe, but it is not. Is there a slow cooker version?

I removed that recipe as I did not think it was up to par.

As usual – you have hit the nail on the head – with the intense heat we have had this summer on the west coast the crockpot/slowcooker has been a life saver. Normally, it would also be nice to grill during the summer but with the residual smoke from all the surrounding wildfires it seems counterintuitive to “fire up the grill”. Please, more slow cooker/crockpot recipes n- keep them coming. My all time favorite is Balsamic Chicken thighs. Thank you again.

Ugh, sorry you’re getting smoke. We’ve been good so far but I expect by summer’s end, we will be smoky too. 🙁

Thank you for your slow cooker recipes. I much prefer using a slow cooker than instant pot. I’ve hade an instant pot for two years and never used it. (Much to my married daughter’s dismay). I just prefer planning ahead.
I have many of your cookbooks. Are these recipes included in any of them?
Your continued blog is appreciated.

You know, I don’t think any of these are in my cookbooks! Actually, the pork stew is in Soups and Stews. But one I would love to have included here is my slow cooker broccoli cheese and I couldn’t because it’s in The Everyday Ketogenic Kitchen. I may have to consider putting it on the blog.
